I wasn’t a Lea Salonga fanatic until I heard her sing the “On My Own” in Les Miserables. Since then I have to listen to all her performances like the famous songs “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”, “Imagine”, and “Nandito Ako”.

What if American Idol or Pop Idol was already present in Lea Salonga’s youth. Do you think she would be able to win? I think she would.

By having that “angelic voice” which is uniquely admired, she would have shaken the world. But even without American Idol or Pop Idol, Salonga showed that a dream would come true through hardworks.

She used the “Miss Saigon” musical play to reach her dreams beyond her imagination. Now she is one of the prominent singers around the world.
